AUPOS ERP 4.0 is tailor-made for the metal industry, with features such as in-process quality assurance, shop floor data collection, integrated batch tracking, revision control and the option to outsource production steps to subcontractors (outside processing).

AUPOS ERP 4.0 naturally supports many different levels of planning detail and vertical integration. The required production orders are created quickly and conveniently from the sales orders and the resulting bills of materials, including the associated routings. Upstream material requirements planning first checks inventory levels and reservations. If stock is insufficient, purchase requisitions are triggered fully automatically; from there, purchasing can either place orders right away or send out requests for quotation first. If enough material is available, the production order can be created immediately and scheduled for the best possible delivery date via the integrated production planning board, based on predefined criteria.
